Schedule with an Undeclared Advisor
Welcome to the Undeclared Student Success page for first- and second-year students at SDSU! Whether you're just beginning your academic journey or exploring your options, we're here to support you as you work toward choosing a major and planning for a successful future.
First-year and sophomore undeclared students should meet with their Coordinated Care Advisor (CCA), their first point of contact. Schedule an appointment through SDSU Navigate:
- Log in to SDSU Navigate.
- Click “Make Appointments | Find Drop-Ins” (top right).
- Select “Meet with Your Success Team” under Other Options (right side).
- Under “What type of appointment”, select Academic Advising (default).
- Choose “Major Advising/General Advising/Major Exploration” under Service.
- Pick a date and time that works for you.
- Receive a confirmation email with appointment details.
Undeclared juniors and seniors without a Coordinated Care Advisor should email the Undeclared Student Success Team at [email protected].
Include in your email:
- Full Name
- Student ID
- Class Year (e.g., Jane Doe, 12345678, Junior)
Students with an Undeclared Hold must declare a major or meet with an undeclared advisor to submit a Major Academic Plan. A hold notification will be sent to your SDSU email.
